| Summer Day Camp
Entering Grades 1 – 6
Our purpose at Day Camp is more than the supervision of children. It is teaching children to live and work together while fostering self-esteem in this amazing outdoor environment. Day Camp is a wonderful way to experience the fun and excitement of traditional summer camp and be able to share the day’s stories with family each night. Campers will participate in archery, arts and crafts, hiking, nature activities, climbing tower, field games and believe it or not, much more! (Day campers do not ride horses except during Session 9). Daily activities will include morning chapel focusing on one of the YMCA's values, as well as the opportunity to swim with friends every afternoon.
Lunch is served outside daily in the picnic grove, and campers also receive a snack at the end of the day. Our staff-to-child ratio is 1 to 10.
We provide daily bus service from Northeast Portland (Alameda Elementary School, 2732 NE Fremont Portland, OR 97212) Gresham (Gresham United Methodist Church at 8th and Norman Street),the Clackamas (Sunnyside Elementary School at 13401 Southeast 132nd Avenue) and Southeast Portland (Creston Elementary School at 4701 Southeast Bush Street). Supervision begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m.

Financial Assistance
Thinking about sending your child to YMCA Camp Collins but not sure you can afford it? Financial assistance is available to all campers. Download the financial assistance form or contact the office at 503.663.5813 to have a form mailed to you. Along with your registration form, please fill out the financial assistance form, include proof of monthly income and deposit and mail it to: Registrar; 3001 SE Oxbow Parkway; Gresham, Oregon 97080. Our office will contact you within 14 days to share how much of a scholarship your family qualifies for.
