This is Summer Camp for the early birds. Spring break camp brings a slice of summer to the month of March. Resident Campers will enjoy the core activities of YMCA Camp Collins, including morning chapel, campfires, archery, arts & crafts, climbing tower, capture the flag and more. As always, the YMCA's values of love, respect, honesty, responsibility and service will be modeled and encouraged throughout each day as we focus on new friendships, personal growth and fun!

New Spring Break Teen Travel Camp
Grand Canyon & Beyond
Grades 9 – 12
This year we created the ultimate Teen Spring Break Trip to the Southwest that you won't want to miss. Travel campers will arrive at Camp Collins to spend Sunday afternoon on the challenge course with their travel companions and seasoned YMCA staff. That evening we will participate in the first campfire of 2008! Monday will be greeted with a drive to Portland International Airport where we will fly to Phoenix, Arizona. Experienced staff will drive campers to YMCA Camp Sky-Y in Prescott, here we will stay the week in a doubled-sided lodge and dine at the Sky-Y eatery. This fun-filled week includes day trips to the Grand Canyon and Montezuma's Castle, along with a variety of outdoor recreation activities such as canoeing, horseback riding, archery and hiking. A travel camp wouldn't be complete without gaining valuable knowledge in Leave No Trace wilderness ethics, exploring the cultural history of the area and building group leadership skills. As always, this special week will also be spent discovering the values of the YMCA and hanging out around the campfire each night making new friends.
