YMCA Camp Collins Pioneers
Entering Grades 2 – 4
The Pioneer Unit is a full or half week sleep-away experience designed as an exciting introduction to summer camp for our youngest campers. Pioneer staff members are chosen for their sensitivity to the needs of this age group. Staff strive to provide a positive and supportive environment for campers to make friends and try new things. Activities include a corral ride, swimming everyday, archery, rock climbing, arts & crafts, roasting s'mores, hiking and other camp activities. If you choose a half-week Pioneer session, your camper may not participate in all of activities offered at camp.

Pricing Guide
Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, YMCA Camp Collins uses a three-tier rate structure for our summer camp programs. Please take a moment to look at the rate descriptions below and choose the rate level that is most suitable for your family.

Rate One
Based on the actual cost of camp for one child to participate. Includes expenses for staff, maintenance, food and supplies.

Example
$540.00   $490.00   $440.00

Rate Two
Our partially subsidized fee for those families who can pay a little more, but still can't afford the actual cost of camp.

Example
$540.00   $490.00   $440.00

Rate Three
Our standard subsidized fee. This rate does not reflect the true cost of operating sumer camp programs.

Example
$540.00   $490.00   $440.00

This program is voluntary and in no way influences the experience children receive, yet it offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child's camp experience.
