Teen Camp
Entering Grades 9 – 11
Teen Camp is for older campers who love camp and want an extended experience full of opportunities for personal growth and fun. The two-week sessions (weekend included) emphasize self-discovery, teamwork, personal responsibility and positive communication. Strong friendships will develop as Teen Campers spend time on the challenge course, participate in traditional camp activities and gain experience with outdoor living skills. This program includes a service project in the Portland area and an out-of-camp three day trip. Teen Campers live in the rustic River Village and are led by a team of experienced and outstanding counselors. The staff seeks to help campers create a community where the values of the YMCA thrive and each camper can grow in spirit, mind and body.

Teen Camp Fees
Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, YMCA Camp Collins uses a three-tier rate structure for our summer camp programs. Please take a moment to look at the rate descriptions below and choose the rate level that is most suitable for your family.

Rate One
Based on the actual cost of camp for one child to participate. Includes expenses for staff, maintenance, food and supplies.

Example
$935.00   $885.00   $835.00

Rate Two
Our partially subsidized fee for those families who can pay a little more, but still can't afford the actual cost of camp.

Example
$935.00   $885.00   $835.00

Rate Three
Our standard subsidized fee. This rate does not reflect the true cost of operating sumer camp programs.

Example
$935.00   $885.00   $835.00

This program is voluntary and in no way influences the experience children receive, yet it offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child's camp experience.
