Resident Camp
Resident Campers live in a community environment designed to encourage:
- Teamwork
- New Friendships
- Personal Growth
In this community, Cabin Counselors role model and encourage positive behavior and facilitate a supportive atmosphere. Campers enjoy the river, playfield, swimming pool, crafts lodge, horses, group games and campfire circle reminiscent of the classic camp experience. They may also experience newer activities such as the climbing tower, challenge course, group initiatives and environmental activities. After dinner, campers will participate in a unit activity, then an all-camp activity, including a talent show, campout and traditional campfires.
Activities are designed to be fun and also provide opportunities for adventure, relationship building and success.
Resident Camp is divided into three age groups, called "Units" which offer age appropriate camping experiences. As a child progresses through each Unit, new opportunities, new activities and new privileges are added to make campers' experiences progressive and exciting each year.
