1. My first summer I had Spud for a counselor and he had a friendly feud with Express, another counselor. So one day during bob time we went to the parking lot and TP'd his car.
2. The first summer I was on staff and I put my staff shirt on for the first time, and then was a part of the staff picture.
3. Doing my Britney Spears dance when I was a L.I.T.
4. Playing giant Monopoly for the first time at Family Camp.
5. My Red Rag ceremony with Love and Zed, it was great to have something so intimate, with two other people.
6. Getting to choreograph "I think we're alone now" with Carrie.

I currently go to the Art Institute of Portland, where I am studying Interior Design. I work at the Gap. I am also gearing up for my return to Camp Collins next summer, it is so exciting. Life is good, and only getting better.

I have so many...but the thing that brought me back as a CIT happened when I was a Questor. I was leaving on the last day and Angela stopped my dad and me as we walked past the dining hall and told my dad I was going to be a counselor some day. All my great camp memories would never had happened if she hadn't given me the shot in the arm of confidence!

My favorite camp memory was when I went to camp back in 1993 or 1994. They had a game called the gold rush. I believe it was Western Week and it was SOOO much fun! River Village was set up as a mining town and you would go down main beach and dig up gold rocks in different sizes. While you were waiting to cash in your 'gold' counselors would go down the line and ask trivia questions to win more gold ... ah, those were the good ol' days!

I was a counselor for 8-9 year old boys. This was one of the best summers ever: John White, Greg Roberti and I did a musical performance at campfire, Margaret "Smokey" Eng taught me fingerstyle picking, George and Carl did their best Smothers Brothers imitation, and there was hiking every day, the Wednesday night sleep outs, horseback riding on the weekends and hanging out with Rob, Diane, Vicky and Jean. All at a great spot on the river.
