Leadership Development Program
Entering Grades 9-12

The Leadership Development Program (LDP) at YMCA Camp Collins was created for teens that want to become leaders, be a part of a team, be an active participant in their community and want to be connected year-round to camp . Camp Collins believes in fostering relationships with teens to aid them in becoming the leaders of tomorrow. The Leadership Development Program will engage teens in a variety of programs to achieve this to include:

  • Monthly meetings
  • Leadership workshops
  • Social gatherings
  • Overnight leadership retreats at camp
  • Camp and community service projects
  • Team-building/Challenge Course
  • Peer panel that aids in decision-making about camp teen programs
  • Building positive peer relationships and sense of personal responsibility
