Let Your Life Speak
The YMCA of Columbia Willamette and the Walker Foundation held the Third Annual Christian Leadership Conference at Camp Collins in Gresham, Oregon on May 15 – May 17, 2009.
The NW Regional Christian Leadership Conference provides YMCA participants with educational and developmental activities and forums. A central component of this conference focuses on the importance of leadership at the YMCA with a strong emphasis on the values of the Y.
YMCA employees, volunteers and guests are invited to join us in 2010. The entire weekend, including food and housing for each participant, continues to be only $20.
Keynote Speaker
Jose Zapas, author of "Airborne: Getting Your Faith off the Ground," and numerous articles is our keynote speaker. Zapas speaks at festivals and conferences around the country and is on the teaching team of Solid Rock Church in Portland. Using humor and everyday illustrations, he communciates timeless truths in 21st century language.
