About Summer Camp
YMCA Camp Collins is located on the Sandy River in Oregon, just 30 miles east of downtown Portland. Our 132 acres of beautiful forest and riverfront are a welcome break from the nearby city. Come discover the wonders of the outdoors through values-based programs that emphasize love, respect, honesty, responsibility and service. Never been to YMCA Camp Collins? Here's your chance. Families who have not been to camp before are encouraged to come for a tour and meet the Camp Directors. It is a great opportunity to see first hand where your children will be staying and what they will be doing at camp. Join us for one of our 2012 spring Open Houses, Sunday, April 15th and Sunday, May 20th from 2pm-4pm. . . You can meet summer staff, climb on our tower, enjoy refreshments and take a tour.
